Make a small hole in this grommet (blue arrow) to pass the rear camera cable through, and then carefully remove some of the loom's wrap on the interior side to expose the wires within. Pull the panel out a bit to get access to the wire loom going into the back on the passenger side, you may need to disconnect the hatch light that's located there. In the hatch area, remove the luggage "T" hook on the passenger side by unscrewing it. ![]() The colors are shown in the pic below but will be gone over again later, we are not going to tap these for power in the bumper. NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS: I carefully cut the tape to identify the colors of these wires, and trace them back to the hatch area. Reaching into the rear area, you can easily identify the wire loom (2 wires wrapped) that leads separately down to the passenger side reverse light. To remove it is very simple, there is one small torx screw holding it in at the top, once that is out you can use the screw tab to gently pull the tail light out. ![]() Then we can begin gaining access by removing the inner passenger tail light, you do not need to remove both. ![]() Step 1: Getting access for the new camera - Start by opening the hatch, hood, and doors and disconnect the battery.
